Supporting Families in the Digital Age

At Step Up Aid, we are developing the Parenting App – a unique tool designed to help families balance screen time, learning, and wellbeing. Too often, parents feel powerless against the pull of technology. Children spend hours in front of screens, sleep routines are disrupted, and opportunities for learning and family connection are lost.

Elyntra provides a practical solution. It allows parents to set clear screen time limits across devices – including phones, tablets, computers, consoles, and smart TVs. When a child reaches their time limit, the device locks and displays a short, curriculum-aligned learning task. Completing the task successfully unlocks the device, turning everyday screen use into a gateway for learning.

What the Project Will Deliver

• Child Agent App: a secure tool installed on children’s devices to manage screen time and deliver tasks.

• Parent Dashboard: where parents can set limits, track progress, and support their child’s learning journey.

• Learning Materials: created by qualified teachers, covering subjects such as Maths, English, Science and Languages, tailored to different year groups and accessible for children with ADHD and other additional needs.

• Healthy Routines: tools to manage sleep schedules and reduce conflict at home around technology.
